The EMMAUS SOLIDARITY SHOP is at 576 Dumbarton Road in Glasgow. Staffed by a manageress and a very hard working group of volunteers this shop complements the community retail operation at Ellesmere St. Items are obtained from people like the readers of this web page and are sorted and valued before selling. The shop provides a valuable source of revenue for the entire operation and is open Mon - Sat 10am - 4pm.

If anyone has any items in good condition, such as: books, furniture, electrical goods and bric-a-brac that they are no longer using we would be delighted if you would take them to the shop - yes we take electrical goods which are fully tested before selling. Unfortunately health and safety regulations prevent the shop from dealing in soft furniture that is not labelled as being fire resistant.
